In March and April, at Pin Oak Charity Horse Show and Spring Gathering in Katy, Christina Franklin won a 1st, 2nd and 3rd in Children’s Hunter and a 1st in Children’s Hunter Under Saddle. This made her Champion of the division. To top it all off, she was the top of the Children’s Hunter Classic with both first and second round scores of 86! Pablo Trevena, who had beautiful form, came home with several ribbons from his jumper classes, including a 3rd, all from a very competitive and large division. Sarah Buchholtz won three classes the first week, and four seconds the second week. Kaitlyn Harkin also did well and came home with ribbons from her first AA show! Ashley Hyten got two 2nd’s and a 3rd in Low and High Amatuer Jumper.  Jenn Scholl had a great show and won 4 classes, including a 1st in 1.25 Jumper and a Low Amateur class the first week. Then she won two Low Amateur classes the second week, making her Reserve Champion. Congratulations to you all!

In February, Pablo Trevena was Reserve Champion Children’s Jumper at the San Antonio show. In Houston, Sarah Buchholz was Champion Pony Hunter, Gaby Fagelman won two blues and was Reserve Champion in Short Stirrup, Elizabeth Buchholz won a class and was second in another in Adult Amateur Hunter, and Christina Franklin got some good ribbons in Children’s Hunter.

Twenty of the Christie ShowJumpers team attended the THJA Awards Banquet to cheer our winners. Sarah Buchholz was Small Pony Hunter Reserve Champion and Pony Equitation Champion. Christina Franklin was Large Pony Third place.

In December we showed in both the Thanksgiving and Christmas shows. Sarah Buchholz was Reserve Champion Small Pony in each. Pablo Trevena continued to progress in his goal toward Junior Jumper success. Ashley Hyten won a couple of classes on Reality Czech.

In early December, Janet was thrilled to attend the Gucci Masters in Paris. She had been to Germany for the Holsteiner licensing and sale in November, the WEG in October and Spruce Meadows Masters in September!
